Make Poverty History - Drop In

Published September 9, 2005 at 2:32
On July 2nd of this year I turned on the tv to see something that blew my mind. Usually that's reserved for depressing world events like Tsunami's and Hurricane's and the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit show but this time it was the Live 8.

So you aren't quite as talented on two wheels as Darren Berrecloth? You don't have cahones the size of Cam McCaul, not quite as pretty-boy as Wayne Goss? That's fine. This contest is for those of you who's talent lies behind the lens.

Drop In Contest WINNER!

Published April 21, 2005 at 2:09
Months ago I started to see home made versions of Drop In season 3 posters popping up on the forum submitted by random Drop In fans. I thought it was pretty cool and I admired their creativity as more and more showed up so I made a little contest out of it. Well that morphed into a bigger contest - The prize? The winning poster would be printed and signed by the entire Drop In - International Crew in New Zealand and returned to it's creator. We have a winner. Graydon Stead from Sorrento B.C.

Who would have known that she would make it as far as she did and deliver us all home safely? Amazing. Another thing that's amazing is the "Best-of Season 3" episode! You do not want to miss this! Steal a TV, quit your job, if you always sleep in and miss Drop In - STAY UP ALL NIGHT! You won't regret it.

Episode One In The Can

After killing Christchurch the season 1 - International crew travelled south to Twizel near the base of New Zealand's tallest mountain - Mt. Cook. The tour is going better than planned with tonnes of amazing footage and riding, no injuries (besides the producer - dumb ass), and ahead of schedule hitting the road towards the places where all the pictures on the travel brochure's are taken and where they shot a lot of the Lord Of The Rings.

Well the bus made it as far as the rampage site in Utah so why not just go another 10 hours to hit the biggest event in biking - Interbike in Las Vegas. Episode 12 is technically the last episode of the tour so things kind of get wrapped up for the year in this episode but there's still episode 13 which sums everything up and rounds out season 3.
